Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in the United States seeks an Automotive Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems. You will lead a team, mentor colleagues, and ensure customer care and satisfaction through skilled repair work.

The role offers paid formal training, ASE certification support, and a pay range of $25.13 to $58.73 per hour under a flat-rate system, with benefits including health, paid time off, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must have brakes diagnosis/repair skills.
• Strong alignment/steering/suspension diagnosis abilities.
• General automotive maintenance and tire repair experience.
• Ability to explain technical diagnoses to non-technical people.
• Solid reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Aim for ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests paid by company; bonuses for passes.
