Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks a Senior Technician in the United States to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, mentor staff, and drive customer satisfaction. Pay range is $20.70–$37.62 per hour, with a flat-rate pay model reflecting regional work, productivity, and experience.

Qualifications

• Valid automobile driver's license required.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering and alignment preferred.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through continuous formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years (tests and fees paid by company; bonus for tests).
