Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations in Canton, OH is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while using leadership skills to guide a service team toward higher customer care and satisfaction.

You will diagnose, repair, and explain work to customers, stay current with automotive technology through training, and aim for ASE certifications within two years. Competitive pay with a flat‑rate component and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Skilled in brake diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non‑technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications including brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, ignition, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑technical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within two years.
