Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Petaluma, CA, is hiring a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, mentor teammates, and drive excellent customer care. New teammates may receive a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

Pay range is $28.92–$51.53 per hour, with a flat-rate structure reflecting task-based earnings and regional variations. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brakes, electrical and HVAC, training others, and pursuing ASE certifications within two years.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license.
• Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities across brake, suspension, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Ability to explain complex repairs to customers in clear terms.
• Willingness to pursue ASE certifications and continue training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue and maintain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; company covers tests.
