Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license at all times; ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis and repair with strong alignment/suspension skills.
• Experience with general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Reading, writing and math skills to explain diagnoses clearly.
• Federal, state and local certifications or licenses where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Willingness to pursue ASE certifications; training paid by the company.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications including brake, hydraulic, exhaust and electrical systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers in understandable terms.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests fees covered.
