Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Pflugerville, TX seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team to improve customer care and satisfaction. The pay range is $26.45–$49.36 hourly, with a flat-rate structure and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for new hires.

The role includes on-the-job training, ASE certification support, benefits, and opportunities for advancement in a dynamic automotive service environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, and A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within two years.
