Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations, the Bridgestone Americas network, is seeking an Automotive Lead Technician who will diagnose drivability and electrical issues while leading a team toward improved customer care. The role offers paid formal training and an opportunity to obtain ASE certifications within the first two years.

The position pays a flat-rate hourly wage between $24.10 and $43.51 with regional productivity benchmarks. Full benefits and an emphasis on growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Skilled in brakes diagnosis/repair.
• Skilled in alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within first two years of employment.
