Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team to enhance customer care and satisfaction. Pay range: $22.00 - $42.65 per hour with a flat-rate pay model rewarding efficiency and expertise.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing brake, exhaust, ignition, and computer systems, and training teammates. Benefits included are comprehensive health, vacation, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer or company vehicles.
• Minimum 5 years of automotive repair experience, or equivalent through training/certification.
• ASE certification in at least 5 of A1-A8 (L1 can count as one).
• Maintains Federal, State and Local certification/licensing where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills sufficient for diagnostics and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications–brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive tech through continuous paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
