Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO), part of Bridgestone Americas, seeks a Lead Technician in the Florida region to diagnose drivability and electrical systems and mentor a team toward outstanding customer care.

You'll diagnose and repair to specifications, train peers, pursue ASE certifications within two years, and enjoy a performance-based flat-rate pay model. The role offers paid training, benefits from day one, and opportunities for growth within a global tire and auto care leader.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Valid driver’s license; ability to communicate technical info to non-technical people; reading, writing, and math skills.
• Preferred Qualifications: ASE certifications in at least 3 of A1–A8; experience in automotive repair; ability to mentor technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, suspension, A/C, and electrical systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanics.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within first two years of employment.
