Job description

We are looking for a seasoned technician that is able to work independently, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with peers. The position requires expertise to diagnose drivability and electrical systems. We have a 9 bay full-service facility and are looking for a lead technician to help us take things to the Next Level.

Responsibilities

You will be exposed to a wide range of makes and model vehicles, performing diagnostics, repairs and maintenance, including:

  1. Diagnostics
  2. AC Systems
  3. Steering and suspension
  4. Belts and hoses
  5. Radiator and engine cooling systems
  6. Batteries, starting and charging
  7. Brakes and brake repair
  8. Check engine light
  9. Visual safety and courtesy inspections
Qualifications
  1. Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment
  2. Knowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, & engine diagnostics
  3. Track record of high personal productivity
  4. Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
  5. Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines and scan tools
  6. Valid driver’s license
  7. Own tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner / tools preferred also)
  8. Ability to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
