Job Description
About the Role:
Pay range: $17-$22 guarantee, $25-$40 flat rate, based on experience. This full-time or part-time hourly position involves vehicle diagnostics, routine repairs, and maintenance, emphasizing exceptional service and communication with guests.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform basic vehicle diagnostics and identify required repairs.
  2. Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle, documenting and communicating additional services; audit courtesy inspections by other technicians.
  3. Assist in inventory management, including pulling tires and parts, and stocking.
  4. Maintain store cleanliness and readiness, ensuring a safe environment.
  5. Perform services following safety standards, including torque, oil safety, and compliance procedures.
  6. Test drive vehicles per company policy, adhering to traffic and safety laws.
  7. Follow company policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
  8. Maintain technical knowledge through training courses.
  9. Operate and maintain equipment safely, including lifts and welders.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. Automotive training or equivalent experience.
  3. ASE certification and State Inspection license preferred.
  4. Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory MVR; ability to operate customer vehicles.
  5. Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.
