AERONES, a global leader in advanced Wind Turbine Maintenance and Robotics, is seeking a Lead Field Technician to join our U.S. Operations Team. We specialize in cutting-edge robotic solutions that ensure Safety, efficiency, and top-tier service for the Wind Energy Industry.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to travel to wind farms across the country, leading a team of two (2) Field Technicians, with all accommodation and travel expenses fully covered by the company.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Lead your team of Field Technicians to ensure effective and efficient maintenance and operation of robotic systems used for cleaning, inspection, and repair of wind turbines, ensuring peak performance and safety standards are met.
  • Perform routine inspections on turbines to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on wind turbines and associated systems to reduce downtime and maximize energy production.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and technology.
  • Report and document work completed, including issues, repairs, and maintenance performed.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Communicate timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders, including project managers and engineers.
  • Analyze data post-task completion and inform relevant departments of safety and quality risks.

What We're Looking For:
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to travel frequently and work in field conditions
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) in a technical, electrical, or electronics field from an accredited college or university
  • Leadership qualities and team coordination experience with a minimum of twelve (12) months of industry experience
  • OSHA 10 certification
  • NFPA 70E certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Medical check
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Desirable:
  • GWO certifications (BST, BTT, ART) – highly desirable
  • Electrical safety awareness
  • Experience with GE, Vestas, Siemens Gamesa, Nordex turbines, and LOTO procedures
  • GWO Sea Survival certification
