Job summary

Ford seeks a Lead Platform Software V&V Engineer to architect and drive safety, performance, and reliability for next‑gen automotive ECUs. You will lead hands‑on post‑silicon bench testing, validate RTD, STM, and automotive Ethernet, and mentor teams across regional offices.

You will own end‑to‑end test methodologies for ISO 26262 compliance, design automated Python frameworks, and develop target‑side code in C/C++/Rust when needed. Hybrid work options apply in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience in automotive embedded software and ISO 26262 safety standards.
• Leadership of cross-site validation teams and hands-on bench testing.

Responsibilities

• Define the validation roadmap for post-silicon bench testing and HIL environments.
• Mentor offshore and distributed validation teams across regional offices.
• Coordinate cross-site execution to ensure consistent test artifacts and alignment with HW/SW interfaces.
• Interface with Systems, Silicon, Firmware to map verification plans to hardware interfaces.
