Leggett & Platt Incorporated in Missouri seeks a Team Leader Manufacturing Engineering to provide technical leadership for Manufacturing Engineering Technicians and Machine Assemblers, supporting production equipment, automation, process improvements, and manufacturing systems. This role leads safety, schedule, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical diploma in Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of technical manufacturing experience.
Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and PLC systems.
Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate daily activities of Manufacturing Engineering Technicians and/or Machine assemblers.
Provide technical leadership for manufacturing equipment, automation, controls, and robotics.
Coordinate equipment installation, startup, validation, and continuous improvement projects.
Assign and prioritize technician workload, ensuring safety and on-schedule execution.
Develop technician capability through mentoring and technical training.
Drive root-cause analysis for recurring equipment and process issues.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve performance and process capability.
