Job summary

Donaldson is seeking a Lead Engineering Technician for Advanced Manufacturing Technology to develop and deploy automated processes and capital equipment in our Bloomington facility. This role requires on-site work and a high level of hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting across global installations.

Minimum 2-year tech degree with 5+ years in plant maintenance is required. Excellent communication and MS Office proficiency are essential for coordinating cross-functional teams and

Qualifications

• 2 year Tech Degree is required.
• 5+ years of progressive plant maintenance responsible for electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and installation.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Lead 6-S and safety programs for the AMT Lab Prototype builds for different Business units.
• Develop automated equipment and deploy capital equipment.
• Install equipment across Donaldson facilities globally.
• Build and test automated equipment and prototypes in the lab.
• Provide leadership and coaching to junior team members.
• Troubleshoot equipment during installation and plant support; communicate status to stakeholders.
