Job summary

CONVERGIX Automation Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex automation projects for diverse customers in Fayetteville, AR. You will own the project from initiation through delivery, coordinating a cross-functional team to meet Cost, Schedule, and Scope commitments.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, rigorous PM discipline, and proactive risk management. Occasional travel within the US/Canada is required to support customer sites and acceptance testing.

Qualifications

• PM experience managing Cost, Schedule and Scope
• PMP certification preferred
• Engineering background beneficial
• Ability to travel within US/Canada
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver projects to customer satisfaction on time and within budget
• Coach team on project management fundamentals
• Maintain project documentation: budget, labor forecasts, risk register, schedule, change management, lessons learned
• Lead design reviews with focus on preventing scope creep and managing risk
• Maintain detailed MS Project schedule with clear critical path
• Identify root causes of unplanned costs and drive corrective actions
• Coordinate with Engineering and Supply Chain for timely design release and procurement
• Log and manage project changes via formal change control
• Lead customer review meetings and provide regular project updates
• Oversee Site Acceptance Testing and final buy-off
• Perform other reasonable tasks as required
