Job summary

CONVERGIX Automation Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in delivering complex automation projects in Holland, MI. You will own cost, schedule, and scope from contract to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction and business results.

You will mentor peers, drive risk mitigation, and maintain detailed project documentation while coordinating with Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure timely design releases and procurement.

Qualifications

• Must have engineering design and machine-building experience.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Willingness to travel within US/Canada.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver projects to customer satisfaction, on time, within budget.
• Adhere to project management fundamentals and mentor team.
• Maintain project documentation: Budget, labor forecasts, risk register, schedule, issues, changes, lessons learned, tests.
• Facilitate design reviews with focus on avoiding scope creep and risk mitigation.
• Maintain a detailed schedule with a Critical Path and clear constraints.
• Identify unplanned costs and root causes to drive improvements.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Supply Chain for design releases and materials.
• Manage all change requests per established processes.
• Lead customer review meetings and provide regular project updates.
