Job summary

NewCold is seeking an Automation Maintenance Lead to oversee on-site maintenance and sanitation teams, driving preventative maintenance and repairs for conveyors, cranes, cooling, doors, and other equipment. You will lead daily maintenance activities, ensure safety, and collaborate with suppliers to uphold high standards in a fast-growing cold-storage environment.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, hands-on mechanical and electrical expertise, and a track record in managing maintenance

Qualifications

8-10+ years of maintenance experience.
1-2 years of team lead or supervision experience.
Strong knowledge of troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of automated machinery (conveyors, automated cranes, palletizers, trolleys).
Electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical knowledge.
Knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens).

Responsibilities

Supervise maintenance and sanitation teams on site and provide service aligned with technical requirements.
Undertake preventative maintenance and repairs to all equipment on site.
Develop and lead maintenance and safety programs to minimize downtime and optimize KPIs.
Train and develop team members, ensuring safe, compliant operations.
Coordinate with suppliers/contractors for training and external work.
