CDM Smith in the United States is seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to lead teams in designing instrumentation, controls and related systems using 3D/4D drafting tools. You will work with clients to define requirements, review drawings, and prepare technical memos and LOEs.

The role involves developing HMI designs and PLCs, leading testing/startup, and creating operations manuals and training plans for end users. Domestic or international travel may be required.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.

Mansioni

• Lead teams to design moderately to highly complex instrumentation, controls and related systems using 3D/4D drafting programs.
• Review component-level drawings and respond to RFIs under supervision; perform FATs and field inspections.
• Develop HMI designs, PLCs and related reports; prepare LOEs and project deliverables.
• Lead testing/startup of instrumentation and related systems; ensure QA documentation is complete.
• Create operations and maintenance manuals and develop training plans for client staff.
