Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in industrial control system design and implementation, with metal stamping applications and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Proven proficiency with Rockwell Automation and Siemens platforms including PLC programming, HMI development, and network configurations.
• Strong understanding of machine safety standards (ANSI/RIA R15.06, NFPA 79, ISO 13849) and applying them to system design.

Responsibilities

• Lead Control System Design: Engineer control systems for metal stamping presses and related equipment, meeting specs, budgets and safety standards.
• Own the Technology: Architect, program, and implement PLCs, HMIs, and network configurations—primarily Rockwell, with Siemens integration when needed.
• Drive Process Excellence: Partner with cross-functional teams to refine manufacturing processes and align with industry best practices.
• Innovate & Improve: Analyze system performance, recommend improvements, and implement advanced automation and robotics technologies.
• Champion Safety: Conduct machine safety risk assessments and ensure compliance with ANSI, NFPA, and ISO standards.
• Mentor & Lead: Provide technical leadership, troubleshoot complex issues, and guide engineering teams to deliver projects on time and high quality.
