Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related discipline or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 7+ years of controls engineering experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with Rockwell Automation control systems (Studio 5000) and FactoryTalk View.
• Knowledge of machine safety (ISO 13849).
• Ability to work in large cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Specify and design advanced control systems for automation equipment within budget and safety standards.
• Develop control system architectures and integrate hardware/software components (Rockwell).
• Create PLC programming, HMI development, and network configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine manufacturing processes per standards.
• Analyze performance data and implement improvements for efficiency and safety.
• Stay current with automation technologies and best practices.
• Lead implementation of control systems and ensure on-time delivery and project success.
• Troubleshoot complex control system issues to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and less experienced staff.
