Key Responsibilities

1. Technical ownership for the project
2. Collaborate with Program technical offices to ensure alignment with automation standards
3. Provide technical leadership and ensure standards are followed
4. Ensure consistency of automation deliverables
5. Participate in P&ID and control strategy reviews
6. Assist in defining software components
7. Communicate progress and issues to project manager
8. Support creation of specifications and testing strategies
9. Identify and analyze risks, maintain compliance with training requirements

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 10+ years automation experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry
• Experience with Delta V DCS and Pharma/Biotech environment
• Knowledge of GMPs, regulatory requirements, and validation principles
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Experience with SCADA, PLCs, HMI, APIs, SQL (desirable)
• 10+ years Delta V experience in pharma or biopharma
