Job summary

Exol is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to own the performance of a Jackson, GA distribution center. You will lead teams, manage workflows, and partner with automation system owners to deliver safety, quality and KPI results.

You will drive continuous improvement, develop leaders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and corporate goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred in related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ operations leadership experience in a high-volume warehouse environment.
• Experience with automation/robotic systems preferred.
• Startup experience is a plus for building and launching new facilities.
• Demonstrated track record of managing performance metrics, labor management, continuous improvement, and safety.
• Experience working with large teams across multiple shifts is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills; ability to motivate and develop talent.
• Analytical mindset with data interpretation and trend analysis.
• Lean/Kaizen mindset; comfortable leading change and process improvement.
• Knowledge of WMS, ERP and automated equipment controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily departmental operations: receiving, put-away, picking/packing, shipping, returns, and value-added services.
• Ensure safe, compliant operations: enforce safety policies, lead safety meetings, audits, and corrective actions.
• Manage labor/resource planning: staffing, shift scheduling, overtime control, productivity monitoring.
• Drive performance metrics: OEE, on-time shipping, inventory accuracy, cycle times, shrinkage, cost per unit.
• Partner with automation/technology teams: integrate robotics/AI tools, monitor uptime, troubleshoot issues.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives: identify waste, apply lean practices, standardize work, root-cause analysis.
• Develop and mentor leads and team members: goal setting, performance reviews, engagement.
• Collaborate across maintenance, IT, safety, HR, customer service and supply-chain teams.
• Maintain department budget and cost controls: labor, equipment, utilities, consumables.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, etc.).
• Prepare and present reports to senior leadership: KPI dashboards, trend analyses, improvement plans.
