Job summary

Exol seeks a Warehouse Operations Manager, B2B for its Jackson, GA facility to lead end‑to‑end warehouse performance. You’ll direct floor teams, coordinate with automation, and own safety, quality, and KPI outcomes while collaborating with leadership to meet customer needs.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage labor planning, and partner with IT, maintenance, and safety teams to optimize OEE and on‑time shipping. This role requires 8+ years in warehousing and 2+ years of management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business admin, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a high‑volume warehouse/distribution center environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience.
  • Experience with automation/robotic systems is strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading large teams (100+ employees) across multiple shifts is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people‑management skills; ability to motivate, coach, and develop talent.
  • Analytical mindset capable of interpreting data, identifying trends, and driving decisions.
  • Lean/Kaizen mindset and comfort with leading change and process improvement.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP, and automated equipment controls.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, put‑away, picking/packing, shipping, returns, and value‑added services.
  • Ensure safe, compliant operations by enforcing safety policies, leading safety meetings, conducting audits, and driving corrective actions.
  • Manage labor and resource planning: staffing, shift scheduling, overtime control, and productivity monitoring.
  • Drive performance metrics: OEE, on‑time shipping, inventory accuracy, order‑cycle time, shrinkage, cost per unit.
  • Partner with automation/technology teams to integrate robotics/AI tools, monitor system uptime, and troubleshoot operational issues.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives: identify waste, implement lean practices, standardize work, conduct root‑cause analysis.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor supervisors and leads: set goals, conduct performance reviews, foster engagement and retention.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with maintenance, IT, safety, HR, customer service, and supply‑chain teams to align operations with customer needs and corporate goals.
  • Maintain operational budget and cost controls for labor, equipment, utilities, and consumables.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, environmental, etc.).
  • Prepare and present KPI dashboards, trend analyses, and improvement plans to senior leadership.

Role Overview

Warehouse Operations Manager, B2B – responsible for the end‑to‑end operational performance of the Jackson, GA warehouse. Leads teams, manages workflows, ensures safety and quality, partners with automation system owners, and serves as the bridge between facility operations and leadership. Reports to the Director of Operations (or similar) and is accountable for KPIs, continuous improvement, employee development, and customer satisfaction.

Additional Requirements
  • Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; valid driver’s license required.
  • In‑warehouse role with time on the floor and in the office; must be available for multiple shifts (day, swing, night) or on call as operational demands dictate.
  • Ability to walk/stand for extended periods, climb stairs/ladders, and tolerate warehouse environmental conditions (temperature variations, noise, etc).
