Job summary

Leidos in Reston, Virginia seeks an Automated Tester for a 200+ FTE government development program supporting IdAM/ICAM and digital policy management. The Test Engineer will craft tests for access control systems to ensure secure, reliable IT operations and will develop automated scripts in a DevOps environment.

The role requires defining, documenting, and executing tests across system, integration, and user acceptance levels, coordinating with developers, and reporting test outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 12+ years’ experience, or additional experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with test automation methodologies such as Selenium or Katalon.
• Understanding and experience in the complete life-cycle of software systems.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in matrixed teams and self-directed work.
• Ability to troubleshoot and take initiative in non-routine situations.

Responsibilities

• Work with design engineers, production personnel, customers, and stakeholders to verify system requirements.
• Investigate problems referred by customer support.
• Plan, manage, and track project test efforts.
• Evaluate and develop detailed test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Oversee and perform testing in a DevOps environment.
• Support testing after each deployment.
• Work with automated testing techniques and with JUnit.
• Interact with customers, teammates, and client teams.
• Communicate across internal teams and client members.
