Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician in Fort Meade, MD to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading a team to deliver high quality customer care. The role emphasizes mentoring, continuous training, and achieving ASE certifications within two years.

The position offers a pay range reflective of regional rates, with a flat-rate compensation model and opportunities for growth within a large, global tire and auto service network.

Qualifications

• Brake diagnosis/repair skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of automotive systems.
• Ability to explain technical issues to customers clearly.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications for brakes, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests paid by the company.
