Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction. Pay range: $22.90 - $42.36 per hour with a flat-rate model based on task performance.

The position requires ASE certifications and a valid driver’s license, along with strong diagnostic and communication skills. Training, bonuses for tests passed, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Experience diagnosing/repairing brakes.
• ASE certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within two years.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical customers.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications in A1-A8 within two years; tests funded by the company; bonuses per test.
