Job summary

Auto Plus is seeking a Master Technician in the Prescott area to lead a shop team in diagnosing drivability, A/C and electrical issues. You will educate customers on problems and solutions, while maintaining a clean shop and mentoring technicians.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, ASE certifications (A1–A8) preferred, and a valid driver's license. Must be able to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of strong automotive diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience.
• ASE certifications (A1–A8) preferred.
• Section 609 Certification required.
• State Inspection license if applicable.
• High level of motivation, energy and a customer-focused attitude.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Perform duties of lower technician levels when needed.
• Explain technical diagnoses and required repairs to customers and staff.
• Continuously learn new automotive technology through formal training.
• Assist colleagues in performing technical activities.
• Inform management of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop.
• Adhere to company policies, safety and environmental rules.
