Job summary

Cox Automotive, at Manheim, is seeking a Lead Auto Maintenance Technician to guide shop personnel and perform a wide range of vehicle repairs. You’ll lead diagnostic work, oversee maintenance protocols, and ensure quality and safety in daily operations.

The role requires 7+ years in automotive service, ASE-certified credentials, and the ability to handle heavy-duty tasks with strong leadership and communication skills. This on-site position offers competitive pay and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of automotive service and repair experience.
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform level 1–3 auto tech responsibilities.
• Carry out repairs including brakes, drivability, steering, suspension, electrical, AC and engine work.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and complete repairs.
• Clutch and transmission replacement.
• Provide guidance or train junior technicians.
• Conduct quality control and ensure safety and environmental compliance.
