Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Lead Auto Maintenance Technician at our Dallas area facility. You will perform advanced diagnostic and heavy-duty repairs, guide shop personnel, and ensure high-quality service. Qualifications

7+ years of automotive service and repair experience.
The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Preferred: High school diploma or GED.
Preferred: ASE Certifications: A1-9 when required by leadership.

Responsibilities

Perform level 1–3 auto technician responsibilities including repairs (brakes, drivability, steering, suspension, electrical, AC, major engine work).
Conduct advanced diagnostics and complete repairs.
Replace clutches and transmissions as needed.
Train and guide junior technicians and monitor work quality.
Ensure safety, SOP adherence and productivity across the shop.
