Crash Champions in the United States is hiring an experienced auto body technician to examine damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and perform high-quality work while coordinating with team members to keep repairs on schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to use frame machine.
• I-CAR welding certification preferred.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process.
• Communicate repair status with team.
• Perform quality repairs and maintain on-time status.
• Decide on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Remove upholstery, electrical and other components to access vehicle areas.
• Attend safety meetings as required.
• Finish repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
• Direct the work of an apprentice or assistant when needed.
