Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking skilled technicians to inspect damaged vehicles, plan and perform repairs, and ensure on-time completion. You will decide between repair and replacement based on safety and cost, while coordinating with teammates and supervising apprentices.

Eligible candidates have frame machine experience, body repair certification, I-CAR welding credentials, and strong data interpretation skills to support quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ability to use frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certified.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process.
• Communicate repair status with team.
• Perform quality repairs while keeping on-time status.
• Decide repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, cycle time.
• Remove upholstery, electrical equipment, and trim for access.
• Attend safety meetings as required.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces with power/hand tools.
• Direct an apprentice and explain procedures when needed.
