Job summary

Crash Champions in Wall Township, NJ seeks a skilled collision repair professional to inspect damaged vehicles, plan repairs and drive quality work to on-time completion. You will guide apprentices and collaborate with teammates to maintain safety and efficiency on each job.

The role requires frame machine experience, body repair certification, I-CAR welding certification, and the ability to read measuring data. Compensation includes a commission/flag pay structure with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Certification in body repair and frame machine proficiency.
• I-CAR welding certification and measurement interpretation skills.
• Ability to supervise apprentice and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind.
• Makes decisions on repair vs. replacement based on safety, cost, cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, electrical components, trim to access areas.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, sands repaired surfaces with tools.
• Directs apprentice work and explains procedures when needed.
