Job summary

Crash Champions is looking for a skilled auto body technician to plan and execute high-quality repairs on diverse vehicles. You will coordinate with the team to maintain on-time repair status and ensure safety standards are met.

The role requires frame machine experience, body repair certification (preferred), and ICAR welding certification, with strong data interpretation and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to use frame equipment.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certified.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replace based on safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery and related components to access repairs.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with tools.
• Directs an apprentice as needed and explains procedures.
