Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking a skilled collision repair technician to join our growing team in Mechanicsville, MD. You will examine damaged vehicles, plan repairs, perform quality work, and collaborate with teammates to maintain on-time repair status.

The role requires proficiency with frame machines, knowledge of repair processes, and adherence to safety standards. Welding certification (I-CAR) and body repair credentials are preferred; a background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Experience using a frame machine in collision repair.
• Body repair certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates with others on repair status.
• Performs quality repairs with on-time focus.
• Decides on repair vs. replacement considering safety, cost, cycle time.
• Removes upholstery and related parts to gain access.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces.
• Directs an apprentice when needed.
