Job summary

Crash Champions in Pennsylvania is seeking a skilled collision repair technician to inspect damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and work with a team to stay on schedule. The role includes supervision of an apprentice and ensuring quality workmanship.

The position features a commission/flag pay structure, comprehensive benefits, and a background check. Experience with frame machines, I‑CAR welding, and manufacturer repair processes is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle repair including frame work and measurements.
• I‑CAR welding certification or equivalent required for the role.
• Ability to supervise apprentices and coordinate repair tasks.
• Familiarity with manufacturer repair processes and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Communicates repair status with team.
• Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replacement based on safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery and related components to access areas.
• Participates in safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces.
• Directs an apprentice when needed and guides procedures.
