MBE CPAs is seeking an Audit/Assurance Manager to lead client relationships and oversee audits for compliance with GAAP. You will analyze financial records, mentor staff, and advise clients on improvements while nurturing key business connections.

The role supports onsite work with hybrid/remote options for experienced talent, reflecting the firm’s flexible engagement models and growth opportunities within its Phoenix-areas offices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of audit experience at a public accounting firm.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• CPA certification highly desired or ability to attain.
• Candidates that are willing to work onsite preferred, but willing to consider hybrid/remote for experienced talent.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client financial records to identify potential accounting issues and research solutions.
• Train, mentor and manage team members in audit processes.
• Build and strengthen client relationships while showing knowledge of clients' businesses.
• Communicate with clients and provide recommendations to assist with financial or tax needs.
