Job summary

Resorts World Las Vegas is seeking a Lead Cabana Attendant to support the pool operations and guest services at our luxury resort. You will assist guests with cabana reservations and service requests, respond to questions, and help ensure the pool scheduling desk runs smoothly throughout shifts.

You will escort guests to their cabana, coordinate with lifeguards, EVS, and food and beverage teams, and use your proactive hospitality skills to exceed guest expectations every day.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service experience in a resort pool or similar setting.

Responsibilities

Summary Statement:The Lead Cabana Attendant will help our team and guests with cabana reservations, requests and general questions, both in person and over the telephone while ensuring the pool scheduling desk is running smoothly. This role will also be responsible for exceeding guest expectations and proactively seeking opportunities to enhance guest satisfaction through positive interactive skills.Primary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to:Support and manage Pool Operations Team of +20 Team MembersBe familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.Escort guests to their cabana and assist them with their service requests throughout the day.Assist guests with reservations, general questions, guest requests.Partner/collaborate with multiple departments including lifeguards, EVS, and food and beverage.Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etcPerform other job-related duties as requested.Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.Ability to obtain maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.Preferred:Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.Minimum Education and Experience:At least 18 years old.High School Diploma or equivalent.Minimum 6 months Customer Service experience in a resort pool or similar/related field.Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
