Job summary

Resorts World Las Vegas is seeking a reliable Laborer to support maintenance and repairs across our sprawling resort. Under general supervision, you will perform semi-skilled tasks, assist Maintenance Technicians, set up tools and equipment, and help with furniture relocations, office modifications, and routine housekeeping of work areas to keep facilities well maintained.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Nevada Driver's License preferred.

Summary Statement:Under general supervision the Laborer will assist in the performance of semi-skilled tasks in maintenance and repairs. The Laborer will perform general tasks within facilities and other work necessary as required to meet company needs.Primary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to:Exceptional service and recovery ability working with internal and external guests.Maintain a follow-up system that encourages follow through with assigned projects.Participate in performance management.Performs a variety of semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and repairs of facilities.Perform any other related job duties as assigned.Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.Assists Maintenance Technicians in developing methods and procedures to control or improve Facilities processes.Provides assistance to all departments including but not limited to: Furniture relocations and installation, office modifications, etc.Sets up and operates all tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned work.Proven knowledge of safe operation of powered and non-powered hand tools.Perform routine cleaning of work areas.Shop area clean-up and supply.Forklift operation.Able to work independently or as an active member of a team.Clean/clear debris and hazardous materials.Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:Ability to physically stand, bend, squat for extended periods of time.Ability to lift, push or pull up to 75 pounds.Ability to work in various environments (hot/cold/outdoors)• Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedures.• Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale.• Ability to work evening, weekend and holiday work hours as required.Preferred:Forklift/scissor lift/boom lift operator training.At least 1 year of experience in a similar resort setting.Minimum Education and Experience:At least 21 years of age.High School Diploma or equivalent.Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.Ability to obtain the following:Nevada Drivers LicenseOSHA 10Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
