Job summary

Resorts World Las Vegas is seeking a Laborer to support maintenance and repair tasks across facilities. Under general supervision, you will perform semi-skilled work, assist technicians, and help ensure smooth operation of the property.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Experience in a resort setting and forklift training are a plus.

Qualifications

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • OSHA 10 certification is preferred.

Job description

Summary Statement:

Under general supervision the Laborer will assist in the performance of semi-skilled tasks in maintenance and repairs. The Laborer will perform general tasks within facilities and other work necessary as required to meet company needs.

Primary Job Duties

Includes but is not limited to:

  • Exceptional service and recovery ability working with internal and external guests.
  • Maintain a follow-up system that encourages follow through with assigned projects.
  • Participate in performance management.
  • Performs a variety of semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and repairs of facilities.
  • Perform any other related job duties as assigned.
  • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assists Maintenance Technicians in developing methods and procedures to control or improve Facilities processes.
  • Provides assistance to all departments including but not limited to: Furniture relocations and installation, office modifications, etc.
  • Sets up and operates all tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned work.
  • Proven knowledge of safe operation of powered and non-powered hand tools.
  • Perform routine cleaning of work areas.
  • Shop area clean-up and supply.
  • Forklift operation.
  • Able to work independently or as an active member of a team.
  • Clean/clear debris and hazardous materials.
Qualifications

Includes but is not limited to:

  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, push or pull up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work in various environments (hot/cold/outdoors)
  • Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedures.
  • Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale.
  • Ability to work evening, weekend and holiday work hours as required.
Preferred
  • Forklift/scissor lift/boom lift operator training.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar resort setting.
Minimum Education and Experience
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to obtain the following:
  • Nevada Drivers License
  • OSHA 10
