Job summary

NV5 seeks an Associate Land Surveyor in Palm Desert, CA for a full-time, 100% in-office leadership role. You will work closely with the Survey Manager on a diverse portfolio, supervising field crews and guiding survey activities to meet schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities include reviewing survey products, coordinating workloads, and supporting project planning and budgeting. LSIT/FE is required; 3–5 years of surveying experience and 3+ years of PM experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• LSIT/FE required.
• Professional Land Surveyor registration desired.
• 3-5 years of surveying and mapping experience required.
• 3+ years project management experience preferred.
• Experience with lidar/UAV data registration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional & technically oversight and guidance.
• Review and oversee survey work products for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage and coordinate office and field survey workloads.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and budget management.
• Supervise field crews and/or serve as field crew chief.
• Perform survey data reduction, calculations, and staking.
