Job summary

JPI is seeking a Lead Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent in overseeing field construction for multifamily projects in Dallas. You will coordinate subcontractor work across framing, roofing, and trades, ensure safety, quality, and on-time milestones, and manage daily documentation in Procore.

The role requires 4–6 years of construction experience, including two years in supervision, with a minimum of three years in multifamily work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of construction experience with at least 2 years in supervision.
• Minimum 3 years multi-family construction experience.
• Familiar with multifamily construction procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field safety and maintain safety scores above 95 per quarter.
• Manage SWPPP procedures daily.
• Oversee all field operations and quality control.
• Schedule subcontractor work with mobilization and deliveries.
• Create schedules with Superintendent to meet project goals.
• Generate written schedules and document photo records in Procore.
• Lead weekly safety and production meetings with subcontractors.
• Closeout projects when completed.
