Job summary

Kindthread is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Scrubs & Beyond to assist the Store Manager in driving performance and guest experience. You will oversee scheduling, customer service, merchandising, inventory, and safety, while coaching and mentoring staff to achieve business goals.

You will lead by example, foster a high-performance culture, and expand market share by engaging group accounts and retail customers in a competitive healthcare apparel market.

Qualifications

• Essential: in-depth retail expertise
• At least 2 years in a leadership role or similar sales leadership
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding store sales targets
• Ability to interpret budgets, forecasts, and retail strategies
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Full-time position; 32–40 hours weekly

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by analyzing trends, maximizing daily sales, and developing team members
• Manage expenses, payroll, and ensure adherence to procedures in partnership with Store Manager
• Build long-term relationships with local healthcare providers and outreach expectations
• Create exceptional customer experiences with strong sales floor presence and coaching
• Lead development of team through regular feedback and performance management
• Step in for Store Manager as needed, coaching and training staff
• Lead with Kindthread Core Values, foster innovation, and maintain high performance
• Maintain strong visual merchandising standards
