Job summary

Kindthread, the owner of Scrubs & Beyond, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Madison, WI to support the Store Manager in driving store performance and guest experience. You will oversee scheduling, customer service, merchandising, inventory, and safety protocols while mentoring a team and coordinating outreach with local healthcare providers.

In this role you will lead by example, manage budgets with the Store Manager, and help expand market share by serving group accounts and retail

Qualifications

• Possess in-depth retail expertise.
• Have at least 2 years of retail or sales leadership experience.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding store targets.
• Able to manage budgets, forecasts, and retail strategy.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• FT 32-40 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Drive business results by analyzing trends and maximizing daily sales.
• Manage expense budgets, payroll, and adherence to procedures.
• Build long-term relationships with local healthcare providers.
• Create an exceptional customer experience with strong floor presence.
• Provide regular feedback and lead team performance development.
• Lead in the store when the Manager is unavailable and train staff.
