Job summary

IRONCLAD Powered by Mersino is seeking an Asset Maintenance Tech I to service and repair rental equipment, manage inventory, and mentor junior technicians. The role emphasizes advanced diagnostics, safety adherence, and opportunities to lead process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years in equipment maintenance or related field.
• Experience with inventory control and cycle counts.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required.
• Welding experience preferred; knowledge of cutting tools advantageous.
• Forklift certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs on rental equipment to ensure units are rental-ready.
• Lead inventory control, including cycle counts and adjustments.
• Inspect equipment for quality and document check sheets.
• Manage work orders, track parts and labor.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Operate a forklift as needed to move equipment.
• Mentor and train junior technicians on maintenance and safety procedures.
• Occasionally deliver or pick up equipment from customer locations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations.
