Job summary

Ironclad Environmental Solutions in USA, Texas, is seeking an Asset Maintenance Tech III to service, repair, and maintain rental equipment. The role includes advanced diagnostics, inventory leadership, and mentoring junior staff to uphold safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities cover complex repairs, work orders, and occasional delivery/pickup. Strong mechanical skills and forklift experience are essential for this safety-sensitive, hands-on position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of experience in equipment maintenance or related field.
• Experience with inventory control and cycle counts.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• 2–5 years welding experience preferred; knowledge of torch and plasma cutter.
• Forklift certification within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in rental/pump industry strongly preferred.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs on rental equipment, ensuring units are rental-ready.
• Lead inventory control, including cycle counts and adjustments.
• Inspect equipment for quality assurance and document check sheets.
• Manage work orders, recording all parts, labor, and related items.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Operate a forklift as needed to move equipment and supplies.
• Mentor and train junior technicians on maintenance and safety procedures.
• Occasionally deliver or pick up equipment from customer locations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations.
• Other duties as assigned
