Job summary

ALIGN PRECISION in Oregon is seeking a dedicated supervisor to train and evaluate staff, assign daily tasks, and ensure work aligns with specifications. You will interface with Engineers, Manufacturing and Project Managers to keep safety, quality, cost and delivery on target.

Responsibilities include supervising quality of parts, enforcing procedures, coordinating with internal customers, tracking productivity, and promoting safety in the assembly area.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of relevant experience
• High school degree or equivalent
• Exhibits strong teamwork and communications skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong hand-eye coordination
• Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint reading, specification, change, design).
• Working knowledge of aircraft manufacturing, instructions and blueprints
• Working knowledge of customer specifications and requirements
• Ability to use calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Mastery of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions)
• Understand and obey safety requirements
• Commitment to keep work area clean and free of debris

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees to assure quality of parts and that policies and procedures are followed
• Understand, train to and enforce applicable Operations and Quality Systems' requirements
• Help new and existing employees complete all required training
• Understand workload and delegate work accordingly
• Evaluate assembly team efficiency and make decisions to increase output
• Coordinate with internal customers and fellow Supervisors/Managers
• Monitor and react to department and individual productivity and processes
• Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback to Manager
• Promote safety in the assembly area and understand ALIGN's safety requirements
• Other duties as assigned
