Job summary

Ascentec Engineering in Tualatin, Oregon is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to lead our on-site assembly team. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership, influence quality, and drive performance with precision machined parts.

Responsibilities include directing daily activities, maintaining staffing levels, optimizing workflow with production metrics, and ensuring tooling and consumables are ready. On-site work, visa not sponsored.

Qualifications

• Experience with precision machined parts, assembly, deburr, cleaning.
• Ability to read customer specifications, blueprints & drawings.
• Proficient with power and hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, torque drivers, drills).
• Willingness to lift up to 50 lbs and handle parts with care.
• Experience developing training programs and assigning tasks to teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities for the assembly team at the Tualatin site.
• Maintain staffing levels and optimize workflow using production metrics.
• Order and maintain tooling and consumables for uninterrupted production.
• Report weekly on output and supervise team leads.
