Job summary

Western Partitions, Inc. in Denton, TX is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a team of assemblers in producing structural components for data centers. The role requires hands-on leadership, carpentry/assembly expertise, and a strong focus on safety and quality.

You will coordinate daily activities, interpret drawings, and drive production efficiency while ensuring adherence to SOPs and quality standards. A background in MES systems is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in manufacturing or construction.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and measurement devices.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily assembly team activities.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure on-time, quality output.
• Provide hands-on support in assembling components as needed.
• Read and interpret drawings; ensure compliance with specs and SOPs.
• Train new employees on assembly techniques, safety, and quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, organized work area and proper tool storage.
• Collaborate with supervisors and project managers to optimize workflow.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
