Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Lead Assembler to join the team in the Waukesha, WI area. The role includes welding aluminum and copper, wiring leads on coils and accessories for single and three-phase transformers, and reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship required.
• No relocation; reside within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI facility.

Responsibilities

• Positions and shapes leads for proper clearance within tank.
• Mig welds laminated leads to bus bar.
• Braze, weld, or crimp secondary leads to coil.
• Assemble and hook up dual voltage switches and other accessories.
• Cut wood braces for secondary and primary leads; bolt onto core and coil frame.
• Measure and cut leads to proper lengths; insulate and crimp terminals.
• Perform minor coil repair as needed; read blueprints and schematics.
